Goal 9 focuses on building resilient infrastructure, promoting inclusive and sustainable industrialization, and fostering innovation. These are essential for economic growth, climate action, and social development. 

While progress has been made in mobile connectivity and investment in research, challenges like supply chain disruptions, inflation, and limited access to technology still hinder development, especially in least developed countries. 

To meet this goal, we must invest in sustainable infrastructure, support innovation, and ensure that industrial growth benefits all communities. Advancing Goal 9 means better jobs, improved living standards, and a more resilient future.

I chose to dedicate my time to Goal 9 because I genuinely believe that innovation and strong infrastructure are the backbone of real, lasting progress, especially in communities that have been left behind. Growing up and working in environments where access to quality technology, transportation, or even stable internet was limited showed me just how much potential is lost when the right tools aren’t in place.

Throughout my career in project management, public service, and education, I’ve seen how something as simple as access to reliable systems or modern solutions can empower people and transform organizations. Whether it's helping build more efficient public programs or supporting digital transformation projects, I’ve always been drawn to work that connects people to better tools and brighter opportunities.

Goal 9 isn’t just a UN target for me—it’s personal. It’s about making sure that innovation is inclusive, infrastructure is resilient, and everyone has a fair shot at building something great.
