FROM GLOBAL TO LOCAL
Goal 8 promotes inclusive, sustainable economic growth and decent work for all. While global unemployment has declined since the pandemic, challenges remain, especially for youth, women, and informal workers.
Achieving this goal means expanding access to fair wages, safe working conditions, and financial services, while reducing inequalities in the labor market. Creating decent jobs, investing in education and skills, and supporting youth employment are key to building a more equitable and resilient global economy.
