Goal 4 aims to ensure inclusive, equitable, and quality education for all. While progress has been made, the COVID-19 pandemic severely disrupted learning, leaving millions at risk of being left behind. 

Without urgent action, 84 million children may remain out of school by 2030, and 300 million could lack basic literacy and numeracy skills.

Achieving this goal means investing in teachers, infrastructure, and digital access—especially in underserved regions like sub-Saharan Africa—and eliminating barriers based on gender, wealth, or geography. 

Education is the foundation for breaking the cycle of poverty and building a more just, healthy, and sustainable world.
