Co-Ambassador: Damilola Williams

Damilola Williams is currently pursuing a Master of Public Health (MPH) degree at the University of Illinois Springfield, having previously obtained a Bachelor of Science in Microbiology from Obafemi Awolowo University in Ile-Ife, Nigeria. With her extensive experience in microbiology and clinical research, she has worked with various NGOs and private organizations, developing a diverse set of skills. Her interests in health advocacy and public health have been centered around tackling obesity and hunger among underserved communities, which she has actively pursued through community outreach programs and volunteering in southwest Nigeria and in Springfield. Damilola's proficiency in Data Analysis, Strategic Planning, Human Resource Management, Project Management, Operations, and Research makes her a highly skilled professional, well-equipped to make meaningful contributions to the field of public health. She firmly believes in the importance of having a passion for one's dreams, as it is what helps to overcome the obstacles and disappointments that may arise along the way.
