Oluwafikayo Adeyemi-Benson

Fikayo Adeyemi-Benson is a Community Health and Preventive Medicine doctoral candidate at the University of Illinois at Urbana- Champaign (UIUC). Holding an MD and an MPH, he served as an adjunct faculty member at the University of Illinois at Springfield (UIS) and worked at the Illinois Department of Public Health (IDPH) Division of Infectious Diseases. He is the Executive Director of the Sage and Enamel Foundation (SANDEF), a Non-Governmental Organization geared towards reducing food insecurity and improving mental health in sub-Sahara Africa. 

As Director of Global Goals, Dr. Benson coordinates and implements the overall strategy, managing yearly goals for Ambassadors and providing support through communication channels and Google Drive. He oversees the Program Proposal Process, collaborates with the communication director, and identifies media and policy issues aligned with UNA-Chicago's mission. Dr. Benson ensures relevant communications are shared through social media and the website, collaborating with the Board on information dissemination and event coordination.
