Award Ceremony & Benefit Reception

This star-filled Award Ceremony will pay tribute to more than 40 international films representing more than 20 different countries. Enjoy the Jazz vibrations from the H.G. Band, the resonate beats from the Congolese Band, Tambours Sans Frontiers, and the Comedic Impressions from Reggie Reg (Bad Boyz Comedy/David Letterman).

Sip on tasty libations, and induldge in the culinary delights. Meet and Greet filmmakers, activists and supporters of the United Nations Association - USA. Join us on the Wall of Fame as your complimentary photos are taken to be shared on our website. Engage as our powerful keynote from the UN Foundation and Mistress of Ceremony (Univision TV) bring the evening together in a magical mixture that is powerfully purposeful as well as entertaining.

General Seating is $25, which entitles you to General Seating at:

Benefit Reception from 6:00 pm to 7:00 pm; Award Ceremony from 7:00 pm to 9:00 pm.

VIP Seating is $60, which entitles you to an event bag, and Preferred Table Seating at:

Benefit Reception from 6:00pm to 7:00pm; Award Ceremony from 7:00 pm to 9:00 pm.

If you purchase 4-8 VIP tickets, you may request a private VIP table.

Seniors & Students are able to purchase standard tickets at a discounted rate of $20.

U.N. Millennium Development Goals (MDGs) Workshop
A Discussion on waking up and igniting the various issues that surround the United Nations’ MDGs; the discussion, debate, and accomplishments. Moderated by Steffen Schwarz – MDG Specialist.
This is UNA-USA Greater Chicago Chapter’s signature workshop. Saturday workshop will be taped – Lunch Provided by Turkey Time Restaurant.

Keeping It Real Workshop
Is your work the truth, a semblance of the truth, or an embedded agenda encircling reality? Documentary, Docudrama or Propaganda? Moderated by Dr. Cranston Knight, V.P. UNA-USA Greater Chicago Chapter.
Saturday workshop will be taped and photographed.

Actor's Bootcamp Workshop
An inspiring, yet intensive two-day Bootcamp conducted by professional working actors and industry professionals utilizing practical acting tools as participants hone their skills and craft. Moderated by Tasia Sherel (Everybody Hates Chris and Showtime’s Dexter).
