Eligibility Film Submissions Deadlines & Fees

Thank you for your interest in submitting your film to The GLOBAL WAKE-UP Festival of Film, Literature and Creative Arts.

Film touches, elicits emotions, transforms politics, and is a weapon of change which galvanizes the world to seek integrity despite national boundaries. Anyone interested in the human condition will find this GLOBAL WAKE-UP worthy of his or her time.

Each film or video production must be an original work produced and directed by the submitter. UNA-USA Greater Chicago Chapter will not be held accountable for licensing and copyright infringement.

The Festival strongly suggests that filmmakers retain and utilize talent release forms for all identifiable performers, and require a filmmaker and a sponsoring teacher signature re: copyrighted material with each application. All rights to films submitted will remain the property of the filmmaker(s).

Submission of your materials for our festival is acknowledgement that you abide by these suggestions and guidelines. We do not require a copy of your talent release forms. Films must be submitted on DVD (please test before sending) and be available for screening DVD.

EARLY SUBMISSION DEADLINE is May 15, 2011. You will receive a notification e-mail regarding the status of your submission no later than August 15, but may be notified as early as one to two weeks after submission.
